The obstetricians and gynecologists at the University of Kansas Health System are dedicated to providing specialized care for women of all ages. Our women’s health clinic provides standard reproductive care as well as specialty treatment and services in cases that need more intensive medical support. New Life Birthing Center

We are proud to have a close partnership with the University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus New Life Center, the hospital's labor and delivery unit. The center is focused on providing a warm, comforting and family-focused environment, offering integrated birthing suites in which women can give birth to their child and recover without worrying about moving to other locations. In addition, we have a Level II Special Care Nursery for those newborns who need a little extra help from our expert team.

The New Life Center is a World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF designated Baby-Friendly birth facility, recognizing the center's optimal level of care for infant feeding and bonding between mother and baby.

Expectant parent classes

Preparing for a baby is an exciting time and we are proud to provide a wide range of classes for expectant parents and their families. Our classes are offered all year long and are built to provide education and resources for both new parents and veteran parents alike. Our goal is to prepare you for before, during and after your baby is born.

Most of our classes are free and open to anyone interested in delivering at our New Life Center.
